Elemental Gelade (erementaru jereido?) is a Japanese manga by Mayumi Azuma (Azuma Mayumi). It has been adapted into a TV anime and two video games in Japan. He quickly discovers, however, that Ren is even more prized than he expected. The pirate ship is visited by three members of the Edel Reid Complete Protection Agency "Arc Aire", who try to purchase her. When Cou refuses, the ship is suddenly attacked by a mysterious force, and Cou's captain charges him with Ren's protection. Characters: Coud Van Giruet, or Cou, a Sky Pirate who finds Reverie Metherlence as loot after a raid on another ship. He becomes her Pledger, and takes it upon himself to escort her to Edel Garden. He tries his hardest to protect Ren, even if he ends up hurt. As story progresses, he develops some feelings for her. Reverie Metherlence, or Ren is a Edel Raid and direct descendant of the Metherlence bloodline. She is also one of theSeven Glittering Jewels, an Edel Raid with extraordinary powers. She tends to sleep a lot as it is the only way for her to recharge her powers. She begins to realize deep feelings for Cou. Her elemental power is wind. Cisqua, a member of the group Arc Aile. She is well versed in martial arts and gunmanship, yet she refuses to React with any Edel Raid. Although she does this out of respect for them, it is not until later that she starts to understand the relationship between Edel Raids and humans. She originally joins Cou and Ren to protect them. She also has a notable obsession with making money. Rowen, Kuea's Pledger. Excelling in cooking, mechanics, and much more, Rowen is one of the elite fighters of Arc Aile. He is also a friend and lower classmate of Cisqua. Kullweet Envatilia, or Kuea. An Edel Raid that loves to eat, and becomes unable to React when she is hungry. Her attribute is motion.
