Oct 2 2007 (animeota) -/- Manganovel.com has opened up their new website which offers electronic manga for download. More importantly, they offer both the raw version and the translated versions of many titles.

Romance, Action, and Sports along with full color titles and a miscellaneous category for titles which don't fit in the other categories.
What's more, they offer free manga samples. One such title is Porano. It's in full color.
Manganovel.com has it's own dedicated manga electronic reader, though. Registration is free, however, you must be 18 to sign up.
The way the system works, according to their website, is that you buy points using a debit or credit card, then redeem the points for digital manga.
AnimeNation is reporting that the titles are about $4-5 per volume and translators can get a 50% commission for each sale if they choose to sell their translations to Manganovel.com.
Those who want to translate the titles into other languages can download their MangaReader, translate the anime, and use Manganovel.com to sell it to other members.
Some currently available titles include but are not limited to Abra-Mandara Vol 1 (Chapters 1-8), The Rising Star of the Okami Vol 1 (Chapters 1-8), and the romance mangas Chicken Days Vol 1 (Chapters 1-10), Let's Get Hitched Volumes 1-4, and The Tale of the Kimonos Volumes 1-2.
